Terms and conditons

Front desk hours
Our front desk hours are between 8:00AM-1:00AM (Monday to Friday) and 8:00AM-12:30PM, 1:30PM-1:00AM. Closed on Christmas day and New Year day. However, an on-site manager is available to check in guests arriving outside front desk hours.

Check-in time
Check-in time is from 2:00PM. After hours check-in is only available for guests who pre-arranged with reception prior to arrival.

Check-in outside reception opening hours
If you expect to arrive after 1:00AM or Christmas or New Year's day, please refer the information on late check-in page.

Check-out time
Check-out time is 10:00AM. Guests can leave keys in the drop box to check out before 10:00AM.

Early check-in or late check-out
While we do our best to meet your check in and check out requests, we cannot guarantee that this will always be achievable.

Cancellation, modification and no show
Unless otherwise stated, no fee will be charged if cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival. If cancelled or modified later, 100 percent of the first night will be charged. (e.g. the latest to cancel a reservation checking in on 8 April 15 is 23:59 on 5 April 15. Cancellation made from 00:00 on 6 April will incur cancellation charge). In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Non-refundable bookings
If advertised, prepay reservation refers to bookings once made cannot be modified or cancelled. If cancelled or modified after confirmation, 100% of the reservation will be charged. Guests’ credit cards will be charged at the same day of booking.

Damage of property
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Hotel property caused by them, their friends or any other person related to them.

Payment
The full payment must be made no later than check-in, unless otherwise stated. The Setup on Manners reserves the right not to honor any bookings that are unpaid latest by the check-in. Acceptable forms of payment are: Visa card, Master card, Eftpos card, American Express card, and Diners club card.

Access
Access is via key fob which will be provided on check in. After hours (after 6:00pm on the weekday & all day on the weekend and public holiday) access to the building is via key fob – simply tap your key fob on the reader located on the right of the entrance door on the ground floor. Room access is via the same key fob. If you require additional keys please contact reception. If your key is misplaced or lost, a fee $63.25 will be charged to your credit card.

Wireless internet
Every booking can get FREE WIFI voucher of 500mb per night per room, up to a maximum of 5gb per booking. Guests can have multiple devices connected using the same login credentials. Additional data pack can be purchased from the reception at the following rates: $5 for 500mb data, $8 for 1gb data, $15 for 2gb data, $20 for 5gb data.

Vehicle parking
We offer a limited number of on-site secure car park for the convenience of our guests. Reservation must be made in advance to guarantee the availability. The cost is $15 per night, from 2:00PM to 10:00AM the next day. Failed to vacate the space by 10:00AM may result in additional charge equal to another night booking. Housekeeping
Housekeeping services the rooms between 10:00AM and 2:00PM. If you do not want to be disturbed please place your ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on your door. For a seven nights or longer stay, our housekeepers will service your room once a week.

Non-smoking property
Our rooms are strictly non-smoking rooms. Please note that there are designated Smoking Areas outside The Setup. A cleaning charge ($150) will apply to guests who smoke inside their room.

Noise and party
There is a maximum of seven people allowed in any of the guest rooms at any one time. Having a party or creating a disturbance in any of our guest rooms may result in the eviction from the premises and forfeiture of that night’s stay.

Lost and found policy
The Setup on Manners accepts no responsibility for any personal belongings lost, damaged, or stolen. Should any guest lose personal belongings, except for perishables, whist staying at The Setup on Manners, if recovered, the item will be kept for 90 days. We will make a reasonable effort to contact the guest who lost the item if possible. Please note that found items will be shipped back at the owner's expense.

Complimentary vouchers
The use of complimentary vouchers are subject to the following terms and conditions.

(i) The ownership of the complimentary vouchers is not transferable, and must be redeemed prior to expiry date.

(ii) Voucher holders must email info@setupmanners.co.nz to make a reservation (subject to availability).

(iii) A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to complete the reservation.

(iv) Unless otherwise stated, the total value of reservation cannot exceed the standard rate of the room type stated on the voucher. If the total reservation value exceed the total voucher value, the voucher holders need to pay for the balance. Any unused credit cannot be refunded or exchanged for money.

(v) Cancellation of reservations made using complimentary vouchers will void the vouchers. Failed to show up at the property on the day of check-in will also void the vouchers.

(vi) The Setup on Manners reserve the right to refuse or cancel any issued vouchers for whatever reasons, or amend the terms and conditions outlined above without prior notice at any given time.
