Alert Level 3 Covid-19 information

At Level 3

To meet Government requirements for contact tracing, we are currently taking a contact register of everyone that enters the premises.

Upon arrival, you will be required to share your contact details. Your details will be used solely for the purpose of contact tracing. Your details will be destroyed securely when they are no longer required to meet Government Covid-19 regulations.

Physical distancing is still needed, so please keep 2m apart at all times. This means limiting the number of people in elevators and communal spaces, for example.

Hygiene and safety

At the Setup Manners, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and wider community is our first priority. We are following official advice from the Government and monitoring updates closely.

As New Zealand responds to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are committed to providing a safe and clean hotel experience that puts people first.

Hygiene and safety measures:

  • Contactless check-in and check-out.

  • Limited contactless housekeeping services.

  • Frequent sanitisation of common areas, such as lobby and elevators.

  • Frequent sanitisation of high-touch surfaces, such as reception desks and counters.

  • Hand sanitizer available at reception.

  • Thorough sanitisation of rooms before guest arrival and after guest departure.

  • Regular staff briefings and training on hygiene, safety and emergency procedures. These are thorough and regularly updated with best-practice advice.

  • Ministry of Health COVID-19 information cards are available upon arrival. These include the Healthline 0800 number, a list of symptoms and instructions for anyone with symptoms.

Self-isolation and quarantine policy

Please note that the Setup Manners is not accepting any guests that are self-isolating or quarantining.

The conditions of entry to the hotel are as follows:

  • That you are not in self-isolation or quarantine, or awaiting Covid-19 test results.

  • That you have not  been in close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case, or someone in self-isolation or awaiting Covid-19 test results.

  • That you do not have any cold or flu-like symptoms, such as fever, coughing or sneezing, difficulty breathing, sore throat and fatigue.

Cancellation policy

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic and its implications on travel, we have revised our cancellation policy as below to accommodate any cancellations or changes to travel plans.

  • Refundable bookings are eligible for free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to check-in. Within 48 hours of check-in (2pm), standard cancellation policy applies (charged per nightly). 

  • Group booking cancellation policy differs, please contact us.
  • Non-refundable room rates can be redeemed for hotel credit to be used within one year of check-in date. Please note: Only dates until the 17th of January 2021 are available till further notice.
